GO HOME DAY!

This is my absolute favorite day of the work week... it's called go home day! Some people look forward to Fridays, but me? I looke forward to "go home day". Now "go home day" can land on various days of the week, but typically is a Thursday. This is the day that I LEAVE work and head home for the weekend!! From the start of the day on "go home day" I eagerly await packing up my bags, calling the cab and heading to the airport where I pick up my People and Us magazine, turn off the work thinking (which isn't hard at all... it's typically half off at the beginning of the day on go home day) and settle into my seat on the plane. This is usually a pretty smooth day, the only few things that can ruin my "go home day" are (1) flight delays, (2) the latest people/us magazine not being out yet, (3) I don't have time for food before my flight (tragic!) and (4) I sit beside a talker on the plane (I really prefer to zone out than be caught in an awkward conversation for 2 and half hours). Pretty much everything else I can handle and take it in stride. Anyway, happy "go home day" to everyone who can relate!
