Trip to Grand Mesa

On a lazy Thursday, my cousins and I decided to take a drive up to Grand Mesa and walk around a bit. Grand Mesa is absolultely beautiful in the summers!! I absolutely love getting up to the mountains, the air is always a bit fresher and I love that crisp breeze you feel even in the summers! Below are a few pics of our trip.

Kate has soooo many cousins! I think we counted 8 that were born in the past year and half alone! Here is my cousin Lindsay and her son (Kate's 2nd cousin) Xander.


Here's a picture of the crew that was long for the drive. Lexi, with the ice cream cone, is another cousin of Kate's (Xander's big sister).


Lindsay and I with the kids! Lindsay and I are pretty much the same age and had so much fun when we were our kids age (well, a little older than Kate :) )! We had so many trips to the mountains for picnics, playing in the creeks, running around Grandpa/Grandma's house and getting ourselves into lots of trouble. I'm anxious for Kate to have all the memories that we do with her cousins!
