Germany anyone??

Washington has the cutest little town that is modeled after a little Bavarian village. All the buildings that go up, the signs, etc. have to look exactly like they belong in Germany. I had never been there before, so on a very, very rainy Sunday... Nate and I thought we'd head on over and 'soak' up the scene (no pun intended...haha). Ok, that was cheesy! Anyway... we raced through the little village, dodging the rain... had a pint of beer and a brat at the local beer garden and took a short lived hike since the rain was pelting down pretty hard. Once we were thoroughly soaked, we ducked in to do a little wine tasting at one of the local shops. It was so much fun and we were quite exhausted by the time the day was over.

It is supposed to look like the Alps in the background. I actually think it does!! It's so pretty and the low clouds made it look really cool.
