Nate challenged my pie making ability! And everyone knows that I'm always up for a good challenge like this... be it finding a rack of lamb in the middle of Craig, CO in the dead of winter or baking a fresh apple pie FROM SCRATCH (minus the pie crust of course.... mom always told me Pilsbury pie crust is as good as homemade in my book!). So, ladies and gentleman... here it is! the from scratch apple pie with a LATTICE crust! BOOYAH!

Nate even said it was better than Costco! I think that's the highest compliment I could get!

It is NOT from SCRATCH if you do not make EVERYTHING from scratch!!! Kind of like some people and their canned pumpkin for pumpkin pie!
